Washington Policy Council
Join Us to Learn About the 2020 Census
The Washington Policy Council will reconvene on Tuesday, October 23 at 9:00 AM at the National Human Services Assembly. We are delighted to host Deborah Stein, Network Director of the Partnership for America’s Children to discuss the impact of undercounting young children in the 2020 Census. Sarah Brannon, Managing Attorney for the Voting Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union, also will join us to give an update on the pending litigation to remove the citizenship question from the questionnaire.
About the Washington Policy Council: The Washington Policy Council convenes public policy staff from the National Assembly’s member organizations on a semi-monthly basis. Together, we share knowledge, coordinate policy development, and collaborate to advance the multiple issues related to human and community development, with a special focus on children and youth development.
