The Hidden Biases of Good People – Implicit Bias Awareness Training
The Dibble Institute will host Rev. Dr. Bryant T. Marks, Sr. for a webinar on November 10 on The Hidden Biases of Good People: Implicit Bias Awareness Training. Participants will understand more about what implicit bias is, how it presents in the real world, what causes it, and how it is measured. The session will also explore how implicit bias affects the person who holds the bias, how it affects the attitudes and behaviors of the target group, and how it be reduced/managed at the individual level. Rev. Dr. Marks is a minister, researcher, trainer, award-winning educator, and former member of the Obama Administration. He is the Founder and Chief Equity Officer of the National Training Institute on Race and Equity and a tenured professor of Psychology at Morehouse College.
