Collaborations

The National Human Services Assembly is all about collaboration – it's who we are and what we do. To foster shared learning and collaborative action, NHSA staffs five different initiatives through which leaders can work together.

  • Peer networks for senior professionals at our member organizations
  • The National Collaboration for Youth — one of the oldest and most established national coalitions on children and youth.
  • The Family Strengthening Policy Center — one of the top resources in the country for learning about and advancing neighborhood-based, family-centered practices, programs, and policy, which contributes to family and economic and social empowerment
  • The Center for Volunteer Innovation — an incubator and disseminator of promising, tested practices to help nonprofit organizations build their capacity for engaging volunteers
  • Careers for Good — a new jobs website for NHSA members to attract highly qualified and diverse employees, interns, and volunteers and to spread the news that the nonprofit sector is a great place to work and build a career
